These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all clients and members of Pilates at Sarah’s. By booking or attending a class or session, purchasing a pack or membership, or using our website or booking system, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

• Studio / we / us / our: Pilates at Sarah’s.
• Client: any person who books or attends a class, session, or program.
• Member: any person who purchases a membership.
• Services: all Pilates classes, private sessions, programs, workshops, memberships, and packs offered by the Studio.
• Booking System: our online booking platform used to manage bookings and payments.

3. Bookings and attendance

• All classes and sessions must be booked in advance via the Booking System (unless we approve another method).
• Class sizes are limited. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Class schedules, instructors, and services may change from time to time.
• We may cancel a class if minimum numbers are not met or due to unforeseen circumstances. Where we cancel, we will offer a credit, reschedule, or another suitable option.

4. Private sessions and small-group private sessions

This section applies to: Private one-on-one sessions, Pilates for 2, and small group private sessions.

• Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.
• Single private sessions are valid for 2 weeks from the date of purchase.
• 5-Pack private sessions are valid for 2 months from the date of the first visit.
• 10-Pack private sessions are valid for 4 months from the date of the first visit.
• For Pilates for 2 (two clients training together), it is the responsibility of the clients to arrange their training partner.
• All sessions and packs are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

5. Group Reformer classes: packs and offers

• Classes are first-come, first-served.
• If a minimum number of clients per class is not met (2 clients), we reserve the right to cancel the class and will contact affected clients.
• Intro offer packs (where advertised) are for new clients only and can only be used once per customer, unless stated otherwise.
• Pack and single-class expiry periods are displayed at the time of purchase and/or in your Booking System account.
• Pack extensions are only considered where you are injured or in exceptional circumstances. Medical certificates may be requested. Extension requests must be made by email before the expiry date and are granted case-by-case.

6. Cancellation policy (group classes)

We have a 12-hour cancellation policy for group reformer classes. If you cancel within 12 hours of the class start time, or do not attend, your class credit will be forfeited.

If you hold a membership and late-cancel or no-show, a $10 fee may also apply, as set out in your membership terms.

7. Memberships (group classes)

• Membership start date is the contract sale date.
• Membership fees are charged weekly by direct debit or credit card from the contract start date.
• Memberships include a set number of classes per week (or unlimited, where specified). Unused classes do not roll over to future weeks.
• Late cancellation/no-show within 12 hours results in forfeiture of the class and a $10 fee may apply.
• Failed autopayments may incur a $3 fee per failed payment attempt.
• Memberships can be paused with at least 24 hours’ notice for a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum total of 12 weeks per year. Injury pauses may require a medical certificate and are assessed case-by-case.
• Memberships can be cancelled with 30 days’ notice by email.
• Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
• Memberships are for individual use only and cannot be shared.
• We may update membership pricing from time to time, including for existing memberships, by providing reasonable notice where practicable.

8. Additional sessions on memberships

If you book sessions above your membership allowance, additional sessions may be charged automatically to the card on file at the applicable rate, including where a late cancellation or no-show occurs.

9. Waitlists

If a class is full, you may join the waitlist via the Booking System or contact us on 0414 515 754. If a place becomes available, you will be notified. Prompt confirmation is required; otherwise, the place may be offered to the next person on the waitlist.

If you are moved from the waitlist into a class and then fail to attend, the class credit will be forfeited under the normal cancellation/no-show rules.

10. Health and safety

Pilates is a physical activity and participation may involve risk of injury. You are responsible for ensuring you are medically fit to participate.

• Disclose any relevant injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy, or concerns before participating.
• Follow instructor guidance at all times and exercise within your own limits.
• Stop immediately and inform your instructor if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort.

11. Personal belongings

Pilates at Sarah’s is not responsible for the safekeeping of personal belongings brought into the studio. You bring belongings at your own risk.

12. Photography and video

From time to time, photographs or videos may be taken in the studio for promotional or educational purposes. These may be used on our website, social media platforms, Google listings, or within the studio.

Your consent will be respected. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us in writing at sarah@pilatesatsarahs.com.au. Upon withdrawal, your image will not be used in future materials and will be removed where reasonably possible.

13. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained while attending the studio or participating in our services.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be available on our website. Continued use of our services means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of New South Wales.
